Feast of Tabernacles 2008

The Independent Church of God 7th Day celebrated the 2008 Feast of Tabernacles October 13 thru October 21 at the beautiful Bel Arco Resort in Bull Shoals, Arkansas. The spiritual and family oriented festival included daily messages expounding Biblical principles on living, loving and serving. Worship services were further enhanced by individual and choral selections.
Bel Arco provided opportunities for the sports minded as well as those who enjoy nature and good food. Basketball hoops were favorites. Rooms at Bel Arco have their own kitchens, and a new full-service restaurant was also available. Some members used nearby camping facilities.
A wide variety of activities included: a Bible Bowl, cookouts, golfing, games, and a pizza, steak, and home made ice cream night.
The "new", highly anticipated special Senior Citizen Day was a great success. It included a luncheon hosted by the ministers at a local restaurant and a visit to the above-the-tree tops observation tower at Top O' the Ozarks. A gourmet dessert table prepared for the seniors was waiting when they returned to Bel Arco.
The 2008 Festival Season ended when attendees returned home with their spiritual batteries charged and their hearts full of warm memories.
