The Homosexual Agenda
"But I was born that way!" says the homosexual man or lesbian woman that wants to believe that their sexual orientation is not a choice, but rather a genetic design or a predisposition acquired in the womb.
In an August 14, 2005 article from the Boston Globe titled, "What Makes People Gay" staff writer Neil Swidey says, "In the hunt for what causes people to be gay or straight, that's now the most interesting and potentially enlightening frontier."
What a sad time in America when proving why someone lives a perverted lifestyle becomes, "the most interesting and potentially enlightening frontier." Swidey's article continues, "…. Proving people are born gay would give them wider social acceptance and better protection against discrimination, many gay rights advocates argue. In the last decade, as this "biological" argument has gained momentum, polls find Americans - especially young adults - increasingly tolerant of gays and lesbians."
In fact, the times we live in are so increasingly tolerant of gays and lesbians that millions of dollars are being spent on scientific studies designed to prove that homosexual men and women are just born that way.
While trying not to appear desperate, these scientific studies are performed by scientists (many of whom are homosexuals themselves) trying to find the irrefutable evidence that would once and for all proclaim to the world that homosexuals are not guilty of the abominable acts that the Bible, clearly condemns as sin.
Swidey continues, "In recent years, researchers who suspect that homosexuality is inborn - whether because of genetics or events happening in the womb - have looked everywhere for clues: Prenatal hormones. Birth order. Finger length. Fingerprints. Stress. Sweat. Eye blinks. Spatial relations. Hearing. Handedness. Even "gay" sheep."
Can you believe it? At this point the question must be asked, "just how far will Science go to try to prove that homosexuals are just made that way?" The real answer is that they will proceed to try to prove their theory until they feel they don't have to anymore. When enough people finally say, "but I was born that way," then Science will have done its job and people will be relieved because their carnal desires are accepted as normal behavior. CAN YOU SPELL SODOM?
It should be no surprise that the homosexual agenda has sprung up so quickly in this nation. Quoting from Swidey again, " It took the American Psychiatric Association until 1973 to remove "homosexuality" from its manual of mental disorders." This nation once understood the truth about homosexuals, but has become willingly ignorant. Statements like the ones in the Boston Globe show that this nation is headed down the well worn path that leads to destruction!
Since Science seems to have looked everywhere BUT the Bible, let's look at what Almighty God has said.
Deuteronomy 32:39-41 teaches us why God is Almighty. He will always judge according to His word, the Bible.
39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live forever.
41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.
Are homosexual men and lesbian women God's enemies?
Let's see if there is any question about this. Leviticus 18:22-30 gives us a clear line that cannot be crossed over or misunderstood.
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
28 That the land spew not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spewed out the nations that were before you.
29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
30 Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
The acts of homosexuality and bestiality not only defiled the people, it also defiled the land! Let's consider why God destroyed Sodom and Gommorah. What reason did God give Abraham for going to Sodom?
Genesis 18:20-21
20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
We know the story, that God agreed to spare those cities if there were 10 righteous people there. What were the grievous sinful acts of those people?
Genesis 19:4-7
4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
Practicing, active homosexuals have no relationship with God because their actions condemn them before God. In Judges 19:22-23 the homosexual men there are called "certain sons of Belial," or sons of wickedness.
In 1Timothy 1:10, Them that defile themselves with mankind, are compared to menstealers, liars, and perjured persons, and any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
Jude was inspired to compare lascivious men in the church at that time, to Sodom and Gommorah. Really, the entire book of Jude is an indictment against those that choose to live in an ungodly manner. It is significant that the homosexuals are named among them.
Jude 1:7,10
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
In Romans 1:18-32 Paul gives one of the longest discourses in Scripture, against a society that has determined to turn its back on God. He gives ample evidence that these people know better than to do what they are doing. The Scriptures prove they were not born that way, but rather homosexuality stems from a reprobate mind, which is a mind void of judgment!
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed
forever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
This is the judgment of Almighty God concerning the homosexual agenda. THEY
WHICH COMMIT SUCH THINGS ARE WORTHY OF DEATH! Why does God feel as He does? Because God created the family and homosexuality and lesbianism is in opposition to the very plan of God!
Genesis 2:21-24
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Notice that God originated the family, created marriage, and ordained it to be between 1 man and 1 woman. This allows the family, created in the image of God, to replenish the earth.
Genesis 1:27-28
Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it:…
Let's think about this for a moment. Homosexuals and lesbians cannot reproduce in a same sex relationship. How can the human species continue on? If everyone were homosexual, eventually everyone would be dead. There is no life engendered in that sinful lifestyle. Therefore it is the very antithesis of a Godly lifestyle!
But there is some good news for those who practice homosexuality. THERE IS STILL TIME TO REPENT OF THAT SINFUL LIFESTYLE! Because there will come a day when all people that choose that perverted lifestyle will be dead. God is still granting repentance to those people that repent at this time. But after Jesus Christ's return, no homosexuals will be allowed to practice their abominations.
They will have to realize "they weren't born that way," they just chose to sin that way!
Let's consider 1 Corinthians 6:9-10,
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
When the glorious day comes when God's kingdom is finally here, anyone that desires to live in sin will be thrown in the lake of fire because they chose not to repent and follow God. They will suffer their demise in the lake of fire at the time of the 2nd death.
Isaiah 11:9 says,
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
